The budget line includes a handheld windscreen (for hand microphones), a studio windscreen (for studio/podcast microphones) and an Interview Go windscreen with print/branding.
Our budget windscreens are made from a more affordable open-cell foam, while the professional series is crafted from high-quality reticulated audio foam with a honeycomb structure. The budget foam is softer and less durable compared to the professional series.
Other key differences include: budget windscreens are only available in standard round shapes. They come in standard colors (dyed foam, except for white). Budget windscreens are generally smaller and thinner, offering less protection against wind and rain while having a less professional appearance. Due to the lower quality, budget windscreens typically have a shorter lifespan.
